Managers and supervisors hold a great deal of responsibility in ensuring that their employees work in an environment free from harassment. The effects of harassment on a workplace can be devastating, and can include the complete collapse of employee morale and even the company. This class provides managers and supervisors with critical skills to recognize what is and is not harassment, what they should do to help prevent harassment, and the steps that need to be taken should harassment occur.
All levels of management and HR professionals
• Identify harassing and discriminatory behaviors
• Learn how to intervene and diffuse situations
• Document a complaint
• Understand the supervisor versus human resources role in resolving harassment issues
• Learn the liability ramifications on behalf of the company as well as personally
