Serious question: Why do you think some executives feel they are "above" training?
Becoming a LEADER shouldn't be the end of your learning path; it's only the beginning. Yet many executives wouldn't be caught dead in a training class for leadership development skills. Even when they fully realize that these are skills they have yet to acquire. You cannot lead effectively and positively if you can't influence people. And you cannot influence people effectively and positively if those you lead don't trust you.
