Whether you are becoming a federal contractor or subcontractor for the first time or have been dealing with the federal government for years, federal affirmative action plans (AAPs) have undergone quite a transformation over time.  Expanded regulations on coverage of veterans and the disabled, expanded emphasis on compensation analysis, pay equity and transparency are just some of the ways that AAPs have changed.  Is your plan meeting the current requirements?  Do you even know where to begin? 

This half-day program provides a comprehensive overview of what you should have covered in your plan to be (or remain) in compliance.

  • Understand and explain the required narrative and statistical sections that need to be covered in an affirmative action plan
  • Identify what internal data needs to be collected and maintained in order to compile the necessary reports for affirmative action plan purposes
  • Understand and explain how the federal government enforces and audits companies for compliance and the range of penalties available where non-compliance is found
  • Identify the common pitfalls that can trigger findings of non-compliance
