Does EANE Offer Courses to Prepare for SHRM Certifications?
While our Study Groups will prepare individuals to take the SHRM exams, our materials and focus is on the HRCI™ exams. We’ve made this decision after much analysis and comparison. The PHR and SPHR have been the credentials for HR Professionals for over 40 years. For most of that time, SHRM endorsed them. Both sets of exams (SHRM and HRCI™) are based on HR competencies and bodies of knowledge, however HRCI’s has evaluated and included information from other HR professional organizations such as World at Work, SHRM and IFEBP. SHRM has based their model primarily on their criteria. In addition, HRCI’s exam and process has been certified for many years by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
